Soyou recently shared her candid thoughts on the latest plastic surgery rumors.
On September 11, Soyou shared some of her beauty makeup tips through a new video uploaded on her YouTube channel. In the latest video, Soyou recreated the natural makeup look she received praise for and fans requested to see.
She also mentioned the malicious comments she's been receiving. She shared, "I've lost a lot of weight recently, and people have been saying, 'There's no way that's just from losing weight.' Instead of being upset about it, I actually feel good about it." She denied rumors of getting lip fillers and revealed she found a way to make her lips look fuller through makeup. She explained, "Some people mentioned lip fillers, but if I don't wear makeup, I look exactly the same as before."
At the end of the video, Soyou showed off her makeup look and revealed that she had changed up her makeup style. After finishing up her makeup, she showed off her face and explained, "Lately, there's been a lot of comments saying, 'She completely redid her whole face.' Whenever I see those, I just think, 'Wow, I really did a good job losing weight,' and it makes me feel great."
Explaining the effects of her weight loss, she continued, "When you lose weight, your facial features become more defined. For my eyes, the hollows become more noticeable, which my makeup artist loves. My staff knows that the more tired I get, the deeper those hollows become."
Soyou also recalled a difficult moment and shared, "If you look at pictures from my ‘PDA’ era, my eyes look sunken. That was because I was exhausted. As it got worse, the other members would tell me, ‘You can’t lose any more weight'."
Toward the end of the video, Soyou thanked those commenting on her appearance and said, "To everyone leaving comments about plastic surgery, thank you for seeing me as pretty. I transform with makeup. It can be deceiving, too."
