PLEDIS Entertainment announced on September 19 via the fan platform Weverse that legal action is underway against individuals spreading malicious posts targeting the boy group TWS.
The agency revealed that it has been collecting harmful content through its own monitoring efforts as well as reports from fans. The posts in question appear across domestic online communities, music platforms, and international social media channels.
PLEDIS Entertainment specifically issued a warning regarding the X platform, noting that repeated insults and defamation directed at specific members have been identified there.
The agency stated, “Legal measures have been initiated. We have requested account holder information from overseas courts to verify identities and pursue further action.”
Taking a firm stance, the statement emphasized: “No settlements or leniency will be offered. We will thoroughly gather evidence and hold individuals strictly accountable, even if it takes time.”
