Korean netizens are continuing to express frustration and accuse Mnet of blatant vote manipulation.
The network recently revealed the interim global vote results for the idol survival show 'BOYS II PLANET' as of September 21. The ranking showed trainee Lee Sang Won in second place, sparking widespread discussion online. Many fans quickly speculated that the Chinese member Zhou An Xin overtook Lee Sang Won in the latest voting results, and are accusing Mnet of rigging the votes to promote Lee Sang Won over others.
This comes following the results from September 19, when Lee Sang Won ranked in first place.

Some are speculating that Mnet manipulated the votes so that Lee Sang Won could fall in ranking, so the show can create a narrative for him. These netizens are accusing Mnet of rigging the votes as they did in previous shows.
Fans argued that this type of manipulation is unfair and undermines the integrity of the competition. Many are calling on Mnet to allow the rankings to reflect genuine fan votes rather than Producer-driven decisions.
They commented:
"Wow, crazy."
"OMG, 2nd place..?"
"What? Is 1st place Chinese?"
"Same, all the rankings up until now were rigged anyway lol. Mnet’s manipulation is terrible, so I just watch the shows without voting. But I really hate it when the PD manipulates things in the final, like in 'Boys Planet 1'."
"I’m so annoyed that a Chinese contestant is 1st. Why am I even mad? Sigh… I wish it were a survival with only Koreans, but I guess that can’t happen… sigh."
"With this, they’ll probably go back up to 1st, which is kind of funny."
"In 'Boys Planet 1,' Sung Han Bin kept 1st place, but in the final, Zhang Hao ended up 1st, right? I guess it’s like that."
"They probably want to push him as the center..."
"Lee Sang Won is 1st, but Mnet is doing this, so his fans vote harder. How long are people going to fall for this?"
"This is so obvious, they want to make him 1st place."
"Isn’t this manipulation or what?"
"Totally rigged. They clearly want to make him 1st."
"Sigh… from start to finish, it’s all Sang Won Planet… He’s cute, so I don’t hate him, but seeing this makes me annoyed."
"In 'Boys Planet 1,' Zhang Hao ended up 1st in the final anyway. Looks like the same."
"So obvious lol. The PD has been showing favoritism openly, yet people still watch Mnet survival. Amazing."
"Doesn’t this count as manipulation? They’re doing everything to make 1st. The PD is persistent."
