Former LABOUM member Yulhee rules out remarriage, citing her father’s disapproval and concern for children
On the August 30 KST episode of MBN’s talk show 'Let's GO' Season 5, Yulhee candidly shared her father’s feelings and her personal perspective on moving forward after divorce.
“My dad said, ‘I don’t want to see any more men in your life,’” she revealed.
“Even if you do date someone, never let me see him,” he reportedly added.
Her father’s protective stance appears to stem from emotional wounds left by her previous marriage and subsequent divorce.
Yulhee also expressed her own reluctance to consider dating or remarriage:
“I have no thoughts of giving birth again or remarrying. I think it would hurt my children.”
Yulhee married FTISLAND’s Choi Minhwan in October 2018 after welcoming their first son in May of the same year. The couple later had twin daughters in February 2020 and appeared together on family-oriented TV shows. However, in December 2023, the two officially announced their divorce.
Since then, Yulhee has continued to share her journey as a single mother while speaking honestly about the challenges of post-divorce life and parenting.
