On August 14, tvN’s official YouTube channel for 'You Quiz on the Block' released a teaser video announcing that actress Kim Tae Hee will appear on the upcoming episode airing on August 20.
Kim Tae Hee previously crossed paths with host Yoo Jae Suk 19 years ago on MBC’s 'Infinite Challenge.' At the time, she showcased her playful side while participating in the show’s “Love Pairing Game” with the cast members. Since then, she has starred in numerous popular dramas and films, including 'IRIS,' 'My Princess,' and 'Grand Prix.' Even during the era of lower-resolution television, she captured audiences’ attention with what was often described as “beauty that transcends low quality,” earning widespread admiration.
Recently, Kim made her first foray into Hollywood with the Amazon Prime series 'Butterfly,' a spy thriller adapted from the graphic novel of the same name.
The teaser for 'You Quiz on the Block' features footage of Kim’s English interview conducted in the United States, where she impressively demonstrated her fluency while sharing her excitement about the project. A graduate of Seoul National University, her command of English further heightened anticipation for the series.
The episode of 'You Quiz on the Block' featuring Kim Tae Hee will air on tvN on August 20 at 8:45 PM KST.
