On the July 13 episode of the SBS variety show 'My Little Old Boy,' actor Yoon Shi Yoon set out on a solo camping trip in a camper van and encountered an unexpected setback when a sudden water outage disrupted his plans.
From the beginning, Yoon Shi Yoon showed strong determination. He placed his smartphone in a self-restraint box and explained that the purpose of the trip was to undergo a digital detox. Staying true to his word, he locked away his main phone for the entire three-day, two-night trip and brought only a basic 2G phone for emergency contact with his agency.
The actor revealed that he is preparing to return to acting in an upcoming drama and wanted to reset his mindset through this solo trip. He admitted that staying at home made it too easy to relax, so he deliberately created a challenging environment to regain focus. The cast praised his dedication to self-discipline and called him a master of self-management.
Yoon’s meticulous nature was evident in the way he packed for the trip. He brought household items such as a stove cover and spice containers, and he even organized the contents of his fridge with precision. His level of preparation surprised even Seo Jang Hoon, who is known for his neat habits. "He really packed all of that?" Seo remarked in amazement.
However, not everything went smoothly. While taking a shower at night, Yoon was caught off guard by a sudden water cut. In the dark, he scrambled to the kitchen sink to rinse off, saying with an awkward smile, "This is so embarrassing." He added, "This isn't the camping trip I dreamed of," expressing his disappointment.
Despite the unexpected situation, he remained optimistic. He promised to revise his entire plan and do everything perfectly the next day. "I won’t make any mistakes. Just watch," he said, making viewers laugh with his determined attitude.
