Super Junior’s Heechul has unveiled a bold new hairstyle, saying goodbye to his iconic long locks.
On the July 9 episode of SBS PowerFM’s 'Escape at 2 PM – Cultwo Show', where Hwang Chi Yeol was the special DJ, all members of Super Junior appeared to celebrate their 20th anniversary. Listener comments poked fun at Heechul’s previous look, joking “Heechul, did you just finish beekeeping?” prompting Leeteuk to reveal that Heechul had chopped his hair for the show.
Calling it a “cut show,” Heechul proudly displayed his fresh look on air, and fellow Super Junior members responded with enthusiasm, praising the haircut as “well done” and saying it felt “refreshing.”
Heechul explained that while some fans had wanted him to cut his long hair, he had quietly waited. “I should’ve styled ready beforehand,” he joked, noting that Leeteuk spilled the news early.
The group’s camaraderie and his new hairstyle brought laughs and excitement to the lively broadcast.
