BABYMONSTER members Asa and Ahyeon appeared as special guests on the latest episode of 'Running Man' that aired on July 6.
During the show, Yoo Jae Suk expressed curiosity about Asa’s real name and how long she had lived in Korea. Asa replied, “My real name is Enami Asa. I’ve been in Korea for six years.” When Choi Daniel asked, “Did you go through elementary, middle, and high school in Korea?” Asa surprised everyone by revealing, “I only graduated from kindergarten. I started training while attending elementary school.”

BABYMONSTER is a multinational seven-member girl group under YG Entertainment, consisting of Asa, Rora, Chiquita, Ruka, Ahyeon, Pharita, and Rami. The group debuted in April 2024 and has drawn significant attention as YG’s first girl group launch in seven years since BLACKPINK.
Japanese member Asa began dreaming of becoming a singer in second grade and started attending a dance academy. She passed YG’s Japan audition in 2018 and officially began her trainee life. Although she was eliminated alongside Rora in 'Last Evaluation,' YG’s executive producer, Yang Hyun Suk, added her to the final debut lineup in response to fan feedback.
BABYMONSTER made their comeback on July 1 with “Hot Sauce,” a dance track that reinterprets old-school hip-hop sounds from the 1980s.
