H1-KEY has announced a bold new step in their career by signing an exclusive contract with Choi Creative Lab Entertainment, the agency known for housing veteran singer Kim Yon Ja.
On July 28, Choi Creative Lab Entertainment stated, “We recently signed an exclusive contract with H1-KEY. We ask for your continued love and support as H1-KEY begins the second chapter of their journey.”
Debuting in 2022, H1-KEY quickly made a name for themselves with their solid live vocals and performance skills. The group carved out a place for themselves as "summer queens," known for their confident presence and healthy, vibrant beauty.
Their breakthrough came with the title track "Rose Blossom" from their first mini-album, which dominated streaming charts and secured the No.1 spot across various platforms. The song also ranked on Melon's year-end chart and entered YouTube Music’s weekly global Top 100.
Since then, the group has continued to build a distinct musical identity through tracks like “Such a Beautiful City” and “Let It Burn.” Just last month, they made a strong comeback with their fourth mini-album 'LOVESTRUCK!'
The album's title track “Summer Was You” evokes the brightest, most passionate moments of youth, love, and dreams. Listeners praised the members’ refreshing vocals, which perfectly captured the energy of the season.
Meanwhile, Choi Creative Lab Entertainment is home to iconic artist Kim Yon Ja, as well as rising trot stars Kim So Yeon and sibling duo Hwang Min Ho & Hwang Young Woong, who are leading the next generation of the genre.
