Momoland will be releasing a new remix album on June 30.
According to the latest media outlet report, Momoland's hit songs will get a summer-inspired makeover. The girl group's remix project 'FESTIVALAND' will feature three of their hit tracks.
This special album reinterprets beloved hits such as “BBoom BBoom”, “Wonderful Love”, and “BAAM” in exciting new genres. Unique producers like DJ Sparrow, LoveCity, and EZUZ have joined the project. DJ Sparrow has transformed the addictive “BBoom BBoom” into a retro-style EDM dance track, while LoveCity adds a powerful rock twist to “Wonderful Love,” highlighting Momoland’s energetic charm. EZUZ reimagines “BAAM” with sleek electronic pop-dance vibes.
The title track “BAAM” is currently gaining traction again among Gen Z, thanks to social media challenges and cheerleader Lee Joo Eun’s viral content. Meanwhile, “BBoom BBoom” recently featured on the soundtrack of the film 'Hi-Five', further proving the group’s lasting popularity.
Momoland’s agency, Inyeon Entertainment, stated, “Momoland’s music continues to be rediscovered through various content even after release. This album reinterprets the addictive, accessible nature of the originals in different genres, helping to expand Momoland’s musical world.” The agency added, “We hope it delivers nostalgia and joy to fans, while offering fresh appeal to new listeners.”
