C9 Entertainment's new rookie boy group to debut through a TBS drama in 2026

C9 Entertainment is gearing up to launch its next boy group after CIX and EPEX. 

Earlier this week, C9 Entertainment began introducing the members of its upcoming rookie boy group through the new SNS account @C9 ROOKIES. The first member to be introduced was Do Hyeok, the visual maknae of the team. Next, the group introduced Kim Kun, another member of the maknae line and an experienced K-Pop trainee. More members of the C9 ROOKIES will be revealed sequentially through the end of this month.

Meanwhile, the C9 ROOKIES will make their official debut next year by starring as the leads of a TBS drama series, greeting viewers in Japan first before their official debut in Korea. 

This will mark C9 Entertainment first new boy group in 5 years, since EPEX's debut in 2021.
