On the May 13 episode of YouTube talk show 'Salon Drip 2,' I-DLE members Minnie and Yuqi joined host Jang Do Yeon for a lighthearted conversation filled with laughs and candid stories.

During the show, Minnie shared that she is currently 27 years old and first came to Korea when she was just 17.

She then recalled a funny conflict she had with her agency at the time, saying, “When I got here, they kept telling me, ‘You’re 19-years-old.’ I told them I was 17, and we argued a lot about it.” Her comment made everyone laugh, especially Jang Do Yeon, who playfully reacted, “You actually fought over that?”

Minnie added, “In Thailand, we always use the international age system. I had to shoot an introduction video, and when I said I was 17, the company kept insisting I was 19 in Korea.”

She expressed her relief over Korea’s recent shift to the international age system in official use, saying with a smile, “Since last year, Korea started using international age too. I love it - I got two years younger!”
