On May 11, singer HyunA gave fans a warm update after recovering from a recent health issue.
Posting several photos on social media, HyunA wrote,
“I was thinking and wondering what I should do, and ended up going to a stationery shop with my mom.”
She continued, “Compared to the love you give me, this may feel small, insignificant, or even pitiful—but I want to share the things I love and spend time with you. I hope we can be like that.”
Expressing deep appreciation for her fans, she added,
“Sometimes I wonder, ‘Why do they adore me this much? Do they really love me?’ I’ll also keep sharing and giving. Thank you always, and I love you. Truly, thank you, and I’m so grateful. Let’s stay healthy, happy, and together for a long time.”
She also shared a photo of a cake, seemingly gifted to celebrate her return. The cake featured a cute Hello Kitty design and the message: “Welcome back, ‘Mot’bonae Kim HyunA,” referring to her latest single.
HyunA officially returned to activities on April 30 with the release of “Mrs. Nail”, her first single since marriage, and has been actively promoting it.
However, she caused concern on May 9 when she was unable to appear on 'Music Bank' due to poor condition. A representative told OSEN, “It wasn’t due to any chronic illness. She just wasn’t feeling well, and doctors advised her to rest for a day.”
Now fully recovered, HyunA is scheduled to perform as planned on SBS’s 'Inkigayo' at 3:20 p.m. today.
Meanwhile, HyunA married singer Yong Jun Hyung in October last year.
