HYBE Latin America has set out to discover a talented new Latin boy group.
Recently, HYBE Latin America teased its new reality series, available via YouTube, X, and more. The reality series will feature a total of 16 male contestants, receiving concentrated training for 6 months to bring out their untapped musical talent. The final winners at the end of the series will be selected to form HYBE's first Latin boy group.
A team of 30 vocal coaches, choreographers, producers, and fitness trainers will work with the 16 contestants, among them celebrity mentors like Kenny Ortega ('High School Musical'), Charm La'Donna (Kendrick Lamar's '2025 Superbowl'), Robert Stevenson, and more. Creators and producers Jaime Escallón and Lucas Jaramillo will oversee the project as chief producers.
HYBE Latin America aims to combine K-Pop's unique training system with the distinct cultural colors and flavors of Latin America to create a never-before-seen global boy group. The reality series to discover the members of the boy group will also boast a unique format, spanning across platforms including TV, streaming platforms, social media, etc.
Meanwhile, HYBE Latin America is also set to launch its first Mexican band audition program, 'Pasa a la Fama', in partnership with Telemundo. The audition premieres on June 8 local time.
