SM Entertainment's newly revealed male trainee is already drawing attention.
Hamin was introduced in the latest batch of individual and group teasers for SMTR25, the set of male trainees under the company who are presumably preparing for an upcoming debut. The final member lineup for a new boy group has not yet been confirmed.
Famously referred to as "the bicycle boy" due to his brief appearance in SM Entertainment's 30th Anniversary Brand Film, Hamin is gaining increasing attention for his pure and refined visuals.
On online forums, netizens are expressing excitement over his official reveal. Born in 2006, Hamin is said to resemble several top Korean male stars, including RIIZE's Sungchan, Im Si Wan, The Boyz' Younghoon, Bae Jin Young, Kim Yo Han, and NU'EST's Jonghyun, according to commenters.
Many also expressed surprise at his age, joking about how "all such handsome boys are all locked up in SM's basement as trainees."
