SHINee’s Key and his mother share heartfelt story on ‘You Quiz on the Block’.
On February 12th KST, tvN’s ‘You Quiz on the Block’ will feature SHINee’s Key (Kim Kibum) alongside his mother, Kim Sun Hee, sharing their touching journey together.
Key’s mother, Kim Sun Hee, who recently retired after 37 years as a nurse, will unveil her meticulously kept parenting journal, which she has been writing since the day Key was born. Through her heartfelt entries, she hopes her son can reflect on how loved he has always been and draw strength from those memories. The episode will also showcase never-before-seen childhood photos and a handwritten letter from young Kibum, adding to the emotional depth of their story.
The episode will also reveal the difficult moments their family endured, including Kim Sun Hee’s multiple heart surgeries and the challenges they faced together, always serving as each other’s greatest source of comfort.
Adding to the special moments, Key will perform "Ring Ding Dong" for the first time on a bare floor in front of his mother, further highlighting their deep bond. As Key reflects on his journey, he shares, “family is my greatest asset,”paying tribute to his mother’s unwavering dedication to both her patients and her son.
