'A Shop for Killers' is officially returning with Season 2.
On December 31, exclusive reporting by Star News confirmed that the Disney+ original series 'A Shop for Killers' will start filming its highly anticipated second season in April 2025.
Premiering in January 2024, 'A Shop for Killers' captivated audiences worldwide with its stylish new-wave action and gripping survival story. The series follows Jung Ji An (Kim Hye Jun), who finds herself the target of dangerous killers after inheriting a perilous legacy from her uncle, Jung Jin Man (Lee Dong Wook). The drama is based on the novel of the same name by Kang Ji Young.
The show’s immediate popularity after its debut fueled speculation about a second season. In March, director Lee Kwon, who directed Season 1, addressed the possibility at the '2024 Disney+ Content Lineup Media Day,' stating, "We are planning Season 2, but it's challenging. I'm not sure what story to tell or how to approach it."
Now, with the production officially greenlit, filming is set to begin in April 2025. Season 1 showcased an impressive cast that also includes Seo Hyun Woo, Jo Han Sun, Park Ji Bin, Keum Hae Na, Lee Tae Young, and Kim Min.
