The actor began his mandatory military service on April 2, 2024, enlisting as an active-duty soldier in the Republic of Korea Army.
Prior to his enlistment, he shared a heartfelt letter with fans, expressing gratitude for their support and promising to return with greater maturity after fulfilling his duties. He is expected to be discharged in October 2025.
