Pentagon’s Hui unveils winter-inspired music for Christmas.
Hui from the group Pentagon is set to release winter-themed music to celebrate Christmas.
On December 24th KST, Hui’s new digital single album, ‘WHU IS KEVIN,’ will be available on various online music platforms.
The album contains two tracks that capture the festive year-end mood, both of which Hui wrote and composed, showcasing his talent as a singer-songwriter.
The title track, ‘Winter’s Spring,’ is a ballad that depicts the journey from a cold and lonely winter to the blossoming of spring. By comparing tough times to winter, the song conveys heartfelt gratitude to those who bring spring-like warmth into one’s life.
‘Home Alone (Feat. Hanhae)’ is an R&B track featuring a minimalist arrangement and warm keyboard sounds. It portrays the loneliness of being left alone on Christmas while others enjoy precious moments with loved ones, as well as the wistful hope for someone to come and find them. Hui’s charming voice and Hanhae’s rhythmic rapping add a unique emotional touch to the song.
Through his agency, Hui expressed, “This year, I released three albums, including this digital single, and I’m happy to have shown a new side of myself as a solo artist. With this album, I’ve completed my own seasonal emotions, and I hope that every season spent with me will remain a brilliant and warm memory for Universe (Pentagon’s fandom).”
‘WHU IS KEVIN’ will be released at 6 PM on December 24th.
