Singer Lee Sang Soon shared his personal method of coping
On the afternoon of December 30, MBC FM4U’s 'A Perfect Day with Lee Sang Soon' aired its latest episode.
The show proceeded in a calm and reflective tone due to the tragic Jeju Air passenger plane incident that occurred the day before. As the DJ, Lee Sang Soon selected soothing songs like Lee Juck’s "Haven't I Told You Before?" and Lee Han Chul’s "Flow" to comfort listeners.
In response to a listener’s question, “What should I do when my heart feels so heavy?” Lee Sang Soon shared, “Don’t spend too much time alone. Meet friends or family and share your feelings—it’s one way to return to your daily routine.” He added, “For me, I find a lot of comfort thanks to my wife, who’s at home with me.”
When another listener shared that they were “soothing their troubled heart by listening to the radio,” Lee Sang Soon responded, “I feel the same way. When I come to the radio booth and read listeners’ stories, it calms me down too,” expressing his empathy.
