BTS's V has once again made his mark on the Billboard charts, this time with a Christmas carol.
According to the latest Billboard chart update, "White Christmas (with V of BTS)," a song featuring the voice of the late legendary crooner Bing Crosby, debuted at No. 93 on the Billboard Hot 100. This marks V’s sixth solo entry on the Hot 100.
V has had a highly successful 2024, with all three of his releases this year making it onto the Hot 100. His digital single 'FRI(END)S' peaked at No. 65 in March, while his first winter-themed track "Winter Ahead (with Park Hyo Shin)" reached No. 99 in November. With "White Christmas" now charting as well, V has become the Korean artist with the most Hot 100 entries in 2024.
The success of "White Christmas" extends beyond the Hot 100. It also claimed the No. 1 spot on both the Digital Song Sales and Holiday Digital Song Sales charts, further cementing its popularity during the festive season.
Meanwhile, BTS member Jin's solo album 'Happy' has also been performing well. Its title track "Running Wild" reached No. 46 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, while Jungkook's debut solo single "Seven (feat. Latto)" is still charting at No. 85. Both tracks continue to enjoy long-term success on global charts.
