ADOR responded to the news that NewJeans sent a certified letter warning that they would terminate their exclusive contracts if their demands were not met.
On November 13, a representative from ADOR told JoyNews24, "Since we have not received a formal notice that NewJeans supposedly sent, we have no response to give on the certified letter that has not arrived."
Earlier, Yonhap News reported that NewJeans had sent a formal notice to ADOR in the names of all five members on November 13.
In the notice, NewJeans demanded that "all serious breaches of the exclusive contract be corrected within 14 days from the receipt of this letter." The specific requests remain undisclosed.
NewJeans reportedly further stated that if ADOR fails to meet these demands, they will terminate the exclusive contract.
