Ktown4u apologizes for the misunderstanding with Hanteo Global

On September 2, KTown4u posted a statement on Twitter, claiming that Hanteo Global ignored their sales data after requesting personal information about KTown4u's customers. This information included the buyer's gender, age, detailed address, member ID, order ID, and tracking number, which Hanteo said was needed to verify the sales. KTown4u stated that they refused to provide this information. In response, Hanteo Global posted its own statement on its official website.

On September 3, KTown4u posted an apology for the misunderstanding and overreaction on their part.

The statement read, 

"Hello, This is Ktown4u, 

We, at Ktown'U, sincerely apologize for the statement issued on September 2nd concerning the Hanteo Chart. The matter was a result of our overreaction, and we take full responsibility for the incident.

We express our deepest regret for any issues caused to Hanteo Global and apologize for raising doubts about the credibility of the Hanteo chart.

We would also like to extend our apologies to the fans who were troubled by this incident.

After further communication with Hanteo Global, we have clarified that the issue stemmed from a misunderstanding regarding the scope of information requested. We have agreed to maintain close communication the ensure data integrity and to prevent similar incidents from resurfacing.

As this situation arose from our misunderstanding and overreaction, we kindly ask all agencies, artists, and fans to continue to have faith in the integrity and reliability of the Hanteo chart.
