The value of Big Bang's official light stick, Bang Bong, has skyrocketed on the secondary market, as the dates for Taeyang's 2024 solo concert 'The Light Year' quickly approaches.
According to fans, version 3 of Bang Bong is currently fetching a price of 75,000 KRW (~ $57 USD) on a popular used item marketplace. Version 4 of Bang Bong, the latest version, is fetching between 150,000 ~ 200,000 KRW (~ $113-150 USD).

While it's certainly true that the "vintage" lightstick has increased in value over the years as a collectible item among loyal fans, the hiked up prices are also partly the result of the fast-approaching show, 'The Light Year' in Seoul, Taeyang's first solo concert in Korea in 7-years.
'The Light Year' is scheduled to take place for 2-days from August 31 through September 1 at Olympic hall in Seoul.
Meanwhile, it's rumored that Big Bang's G-Dragon is also planning on holding his solo concert later in November of this year, following his solo comeback in October.
