Former GFriend's Sowon parts ways with OUI Entertainment

Former GFriend member Sowon has parted ways with OUI Entertainment.

On August 8, OUI Entertainment announced the end of their exclusive contract with Sowon. The agency stated, "Firstly, we'd like to thank all Buddys for their endless love and support for actress Kim Sowon. After a long discussion regarding Kim Sowon’s future activities, we’ve mutually agreed to end the exclusive contract, respecting each other’s opinions."

OUI Entertainment continued, "We’d like to thank Kim Sowon for her time with us and to Buddys for being part of her dazzling journey here. We ask for your continued interest and encouragement as Kim Sowon continues to be active in various fields in the future."

Sowon signed with OUI Entertainment in November of 2022.
