The much-anticipated celebrity special of the reality dating show "I Am Solo" has been confirmed, according to an exclusive report by OSEN on the 28th. SBS Plus and ENA, the networks behind the show, are planning the special edition and are set to announce an official recruitment call soon.
"I Am Solo" is a hyper-realistic dating program where single men and women, desperate to get married, gather to find love. With many celebrities expressing their desire to participate in a special edition, this announcement has garnered significant attention. The official recruitment notice is expected to be released shortly, and it remains to be seen whether celebrities like Song Eun-i, Kim Sook, Lee Young-ja, and Jun Hyun-moo, who have previously shown interest, will apply.
Particularly, Jun Hyun-moo's potential participation has become a hot topic. He previously expressed his interest, saying, "I've done a lot of MC work, so I'd like to be a player this time. I'm still single, and if there’s a celebrity version of 'I Am Solo,' I'd love to join. Many celebrities are surprisingly homebodies and don't have opportunities to meet others. If we create a meeting place and make it a real documentary, it would be fun. It would be great to have lonely divorcees like Seo Jang-hoon and Heo Kyung-hwan join as well."
