ADOR/HYBE has responded to former CEO Min Hee Jin's latest claims, including the "unreasonableness" of the 2-month producing commission contract.
ADOR/HYBE commented on August 30 KST, "The 2-month period stipulated in the producing commission contract matches Min Hee Jin's current term as an internal director at ADOR, which will conclude on November 1 after 3 years. If her term is renewed, then the commission contract can also proceed forward with a renewal."
Regarding Min Hee Jin's claims that the producing commission contract can be "terminated at any time, for any reasons", ADOR/HYBE refuted, "It is a minimum safety measure that is included in the contracts of all internal directors."
Finally, ADOR/HYBE stated, "If there are disagreements about the contract terms, it is more appropriate to consult with the board internally than to issue a public statement. We intended to send a draft of the contract so that Min Jee Jin could discuss its terms with the CEO, so it is regrettable that this information was publicized."
ADOR/HYBE did not comment on whether or not Min Hee Jin would continue to serve as a producer for NewJeans.
