Actor Jang Geun Suk revealed that he has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
On August 16 KST, Jang Geun Suk greeted his fans in a new YouTube video, titled, "Hello, this is Jang Geun Suk. I have something to confess."
The star stated, "I'm greeting you here for the first time in a while. In truth, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer about a year ago."
He then continued, "I didn't reveal it right away because I thought it would shock too many people. Fortunately, the surgery was successful. It has been 2 weeks as of now, and my condition is good. I'm glad I can finally speak like this. For about 8 days, I was so scared that I didn't do anything to stress my body."
Finally, Jang Geun Suk concluded his short video with, "To recuperate, I plan on spending some time vacationing in Jeju island."
Meanwhile, Jang Geun Suk most recently appeared as a cast member on the Netflix reality program, 'The Influencer'.
