Aug 1, 2024 marks the tenth anniversary of the superstar girl group Red Velvet.
In celebration, Red Velvet will be releasing a fan song “Sweet Dreams” on the very day of their anniversary, at 6 p.m. KST. The medium-tempo upbeat song features the arpeggio technique, serving as an epilogue to their most-recently released album ‘Cosmic’.

The five-member girl group debuted in 2014 with “Happiness”, the beginning of a slew of upbeat songs with bright and colorful palettes.
Red Velvet took the nation by storm and established themselves as a national girl group with successive energetic tunes and choreographies, which includes “Red Flavor” and “Russian Roulette.”
Red Velvet then successfully transitioned into a more mature flavor with songs that showcase a sensual flair. They consistently released banger after banger, such as “Peek-A-Boo,” “Bad Boy,” and “Psycho.”
Most recently, Red Velvet made their comeback with the title track “Cosmic,” which is a good blend of both their earlier vibrancy and later sensual vibes.
