IU has extended a special invitation to an overseas fan for her world tour.
Recently, an American grandfather who claims to be a fan of IU has garnered attention online by revealing his fan spirit and asking how he can join Uaena (IU's official fan club name) while living in the United States.
As the video gained momentum, IU personally reached out to this devoted fan, extending an invitation to her concert. Taking to her Instagram story, IU wrote: "Hi grandpa! Your videos made me happy. I want to make you happy for a long time. I really appreciate your smile. And.. I'd like to invite you to my concert in the America. My office will contact you, so please come."
She also added an adorable note, "That outfit really suits you. Please enjoy my new album 'The Winning.' Thank you so much."
Upon hearing this news from fans, the grandfather couldn't contain his joy and shared a moment of overwhelming happiness. He expressed his gratitude, saying he just couldn't believe it. He also wrote in his captions on the YouTube video, "IU is such a sweet person. As great as her talent is, so is her heart. Thank you so much, IU. This means so much to me."
IU, who recently made a comeback, kicked off the '2024 IU H.E.R. World Tour Concert' on March 2 and will travel to 18 venues in various cities in Asia, Europe, and the United States.
