HYBE named among top 50 most innovative companies worldwide

HYBE proudly announced its selection as one of 'The World's 50 Most Innovative Companies 2024' by 'Fast Company', a renowned American economic media outlet. The recognition comes as HYBE Labels' artist NewJeans continues to redefine music as commercial art.

Since 2008, Fast Company has been identifying companies making significant impacts across industries and cultures through innovative endeavors. HYBE, which has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Innovative Companies in 2020 and 2022, secures its place for the third consecutive year.

In this year's prestigious list, alongside global giants like NVIDIA (1st), Microsoft (3rd), YouTube (7th), Google (30th), and UMG (45th), HYBE stands as the sole Korean representative, ranking an impressive 23rd overall. Within the industrial category, it secures the second spot in the design sector.

Fast Company attributes HYBE's selection to the strategic vision of Min Hee Jin, CEO of Ador, an affiliated label, and the remarkable performance of NewJeans. The group's ability to evoke 90s nostalgia with its unique analog vibe, R&B-infused tunes, and dreamy visuals has captivated audiences worldwide. Albums like 'NewJeans', 'OMG', and 'Get Up' have not only gained global popularity but also positioned NewJeans as ambassadors for leading fashion brands.

Fast Company notes that New Jeans has elevated music to a pinnacle of commercial artistry, citing collaborations with global brands like Apple, Nike, and Coca-Cola. These collaborations transcend traditional marketing campaigns, integrating the brand into the fabric of NewJeans' world. Notable examples include shooting the "ETA" music video with Apple iPhone 14 Pro to showcase stable camera technology and partnering with Coca-Cola on the "Zero" sound source and music video. These initiatives blur the lines between advertisements and songs, showcasing a new level of creative synergy.

CEO Min Hee Jin's background as a former art director has played a pivotal role in shaping NewJeans' identity. In an interview with Fast Company, CEO Min emphasized her unique ability to express imagery not only through graphics but also through sound, a testament to her multifaceted talents honed over years of experience.
