On March 20 KST, Genie Music revealed its plans to launch domestic and international tour performances featuring 12 top vocal boy group artists from Mnet's 'Build Up: Vocal Boy Group Survival', a project that has garnered intense competition among aspiring talents.

'Build Up' is a collaborative venture between Genie Music, CJ ENM, and Orca Music, aimed at nurturing exceptional vocal boy groups. Premiering at the end of January and airing every Friday at 10:10 PM, the show is currently in its fourth round of competition. Among the initial 40 contestants, 20 have advanced, with the upcoming 9th episode featuring a new song contest judged by esteemed K-Pop producers.

Upon the conclusion of the competition, three top four-member vocal groups (12 members in total) will be selected. Genie Music plans to organize both domestic and international live performances featuring these talented artists. The inaugural event, titled '2024 Build Up Concert', is scheduled to take place in Busan on June 8, followed by another performance in Seoul on June 15. 

Exclusive ticket sales through Interpark will commence on March 25. Furthermore, Genie Music aims to extend the reach of the '2024 Build Up Concert' to overseas regions such as Japan.

Byun Yong Sik, head of Genie Music's performance business division, emphasized Genie Music's dedication to expanding its performance IPs, promising to enhance the competitiveness of its performance business through strategic planning, production, and investment across various genres.
