UNIQ member Sungjoo is suspected of being married and already a father.
On February 16, Sungjoo celebrated his birthday and revealed a voice message from member Wenhan during a live broadcast. In the message, Wenhan sang the birthday song and said, "Is your son still awake? Let me give him a hug from uncle."
After hearing the message, Sungjoo's expression changed, and he immediately ended the live broadcast.
After that, netizens noticed that there were many children's toys in the background when Sungjoo was filming for the Chinese video app Douyin. Based on these findings, many netizens and fans speculate that Sungjoo is already a father.
Sungjoo is part of the group UNIQ, which is a joint Sino-Korea project group with members Seungyoun, Yibo, Yixuan, and Wenhan. Seungyoun moved to Idam Entertainment after his exclusive contract with Yuehua Entertainment ended. He now promotes as a solo artist under the stage name WOODZ.
