A song attains a Perfect All-Kill (PAK) when it rises to the top spot on all major South Korean music streaming platforms, including Melon, Genie, Bugs, FLO, VIBE, and YouTube Music, as well as claiming the number one position on Instiz's real-time and weekly iChart.
Earning a PAK is a coveted milestone for K-pop artists, symbolizing widespread popularity and public adoration in South Korea. Songs that achieve this feat are hailed as significant hits within the country's music scene.
So far, in 2024, only two artists have been able to accomplish this feat. The first to receive a PAK in 2024 was IU with her pre-release single "Love Wins All."
Then, on February 25, iChart announced that BIBI achieved the second PAK of 2024 with her latest track, "Bam Yang Gang."
Meanwhile, "Bam Yang Gang (Chestnut Bean Jelly)" is a collaboration between the singer and musician Jang Kiha, who composed, wrote, and arranged the song. It was one of 2 singles BIBI dropped for Valentine's Day alongside "Sugar Rush."
Congrats to BIBI on this amazing achievement!
