Wonstein is set to make a comeback after eight months. According to his agency, Standard Friends, Wonstein will release his new single 'It's not beautiful and it doesn't hurt' at 6 PM KST.
This new song 'Not Beautiful, Not Painful' was inspired by a cover version of the group BTOB's song 'Beautiful Pain' that Wonstein uploaded on his YouTube channel before his appearance on Mnet's 'Show Me The Money 9' in 2018. The cover video, titled ' 'It's not beautiful and it doesn't hurt' ', garnered about 4 million views and has consistently received requests for an official release even after five years.
The release of this song is a response to the enduring love and requests from fans. It showcases a more mature and developed vocal talent from Wonstein, along with his unique, pure, and sincere emotions.
Additionally, the song's arrangement was co-handled by Slom, a fellow label mate known for producing tracks like 'Merry-Go-Round (Feat. Zion.T, Wonstein) (Prod. Slom)', 'NOT SORRY (Feat. pH-1) (Prod. by Slom)', and 'UNLOVE (prod. HONNE)'. The involvement of emerging artist Valo and guitarist Koo Young-jun further enhances the quality of the track.
