Just a few hours after the release of their newest song "Love 119," RIIZE has found themselves in a plagiarism controversy.

The allegations stem from striking similarities pointed out by netizens, drawing parallels with NewJeans' music video "Ditto." The accusations center around specific scenes and visual elements in both music videos that appear reminiscent of each other. 

One netizen shared captured scenes from both "Love 119" and "Ditto," showing the similarities and accused RIIZE of copying the girl group's music video.

Other Korean netizens joined the online community where the comparison was shared and engaged in a heated discussion about whether "Love 119" plagiarized "Ditto" or not. While some stated that the videos were not similar, many were surprised by the similarities in the screen captured photos.

They commented, "RIIZE's music video was filmed in Japan, filmed with a Japanese actress, and seems like a homage to Japanese first love movie. But people are saying it's similar to NewJeans when they previously said NewJeans didn't get influenced by Japan. That's funny." "I think it's because both of them give off the teenage vibe. Because the basketball court, bicycle riding, and school uniform are all associated with that teen, youth feeling. The TV scene was done by other SM artists too though," "Looking at the photos, they look so similar," "I'm a NewJeans fan and I just watched the NewJeans music video and I think this is an overreach," and "This music video definitely got influenced by NewJeans' 'Ditto' music video."
