On January 22, Jo Se Ho's label confirmed he's been dating his non-celebrity girlfriend, who's 9 years his junior, with the intention of marriage for 1 year. Following the statement, the comedian wrote the following on Instagram:

This is the first time I've been in the news for dating.

There are people who sent me support, hoping I can meet a good person soon.

I have someone who is very precious to me, and I want to spend a long time with her!

We spent nearly a year together. As we became more confident in each other, we decided to spend more precious time together.

I'm embarrassed when I write this to you. I just feel like I'd appreciate it if you could celebrate with me.
