Song Kang will not be attending the 2023 SBS Drama Awards.
According to media reports on December 24 KST, Song Kang will not be present at the 2023 SBS Drama Awards ceremony, which is scheduled to take place on December 29 at the SBS Prism Tower in Seoul.
As his enlistment is scheduled for the first half of next year, news of his absence caused speculation relating to his enlistment schedule. However, it has been clarified that it is due to other commitments he needs to fulfill, meaning he will be missing his chance to attend his first terrestrial broadcast award ceremony.
Song Kang is currently appearing in the SBS drama 'My Demon,' which revolves around the contract marriage between heiress Dohee, played by Kim Yoo Jung, and Song Kang's 'demon' Guwon, who momentarily loses his abilities.
Meanwhile, the 2023 SBS Drama Awards will be hosted by Shin Dong Yup and Song Kang's 'My Demon' co-lead Kim Yoo Jung.
