Shin Jaewon is leaving The Wind just 7 months after their debut.
On December 6, WithUs Entertainment announced The Wind's leader Shin Jaewon is withdrawing from the group. The label stated, "Shin Jaewon, a member of The Wind, has left the group because of personal reasons as of December 6, 2023. Because of this, we'd like to inform you The Wind will move on as a 6-member group for their future schedules."
WithUs Entertainment continued, "We promise to do our best and give full support for The Wind's activities as they're starting fresh... We'd like to once again apologize to fans who may be surprised by the sudden announcement."
The Wind made their debut this past May with their mini album 'Beginning : The Wind Page' and made a comeback with their first single album 'The Wind : Summer Vacation' this past August.
