(G)I-DLE's Miyeon to bid farewell as the host of 'M! Countdown'

(G)I-DLE's Miyeon will be stepping down as the female MC of Mnet's 'M! Countdown' after 2 years and 9 months.

Miyeon, who was selected as a co-MC of 'M! Countdown' alongside actor Nam Yoon Soo in February of 2021, has since become the longest serving MC in the history of the music program. She will bid viewers farewell after this week's broadcast, airing on November 16 KST. 

Miyeon plans to express her gratitude to fans and viewers with a thank you message and a special stage.

Make sure to catch Miyeon's final broadcast of 'M! Countdown' on November 16 at 6 PM KST.

I think she's the longest continuous MC of any of the big 4 music shows (Music Bank, Music Core, Inkigayo, MCountdown). The only person who I think hosted a show longer continuously is Kim Shin Young on Show Champion for like 4+ years.
