'Slow Dancing' by BTS's V (Kim Taehyung) wins 'Best Fall Music' category at the '2023 The Fact Music Awards'

On October 10, the '2023 The Fact Music Awards' took place at Incheon Namdong Gymnasium. Established in 2019, these awards use objective data from Gaon, judges' evaluations, and fan support scores to determine winners.

Taehyung's solo song "Slow Dancing" from his debut album "Layover" won in the "Best Fall Music" category. He is the first idol soloist to win in the "Best Music" category.

The award was decided through fan voting, and Taehyung's dedicated fanbase emerged triumphant despite stiff competition from fans of other competing artists.

During the award ceremony, the host highlighted Taehyung's remarkable achievement with "Layover," noting that he had become the first solo K-pop artist to exceed 2 million copies in sales during the first week.

"Slow Dancing" is described as a '70s romantic soul-style track that exudes a laid-back and free-spirited feeling, just as the title suggests.
