Choi Woo Sik, is looking to return to the genre that made him famous - romantic comedy. On October 11 KST, it was reported that Choi Woo Sik is seriously entertaining the prospect of starring in the upcoming production, 'Melodramatic Movie' (literal translation).
'Melodramatic Movie' is the anticipated new creation from acclaimed writer Lee Na Eun, best known for her work on the SBS drama 'Our Beloved Summer.' As the title indicates, 'Melodramatic Movie' is expected to portray an endearingly tender love story. In the spotlight as the male lead, the talented Choi Woo Sik is gearing up to drive the narrative by threading the needle between romance and comedy.
Interestingly, this wouldn't be the first professional partnership between Choi Woo Sik and Lee Na Eun. They previously collaborated on 'Our Beloved Summer', a compelling romance drama dressed up as a youth documentary.
