Will NewJeans sing the League of Legends Worlds 2023 anthem?

In a now-deleted article by celebrityaccess.com, there's buzz that NewJeans has been tapped to deliver the anthem for the 2023 League of Legends Worlds Championship. Not only are they expected to lend their voices to the theme song, but they'll also be performing it live during the Finals.

The article stated that the song will be titled "Gods," and the track is the brainchild of Riot Games' chief composer, Sebastien Najand, collaborating with Alex Seaver of Mako. If the article content is accurate, fans can reportedly mark their calendars for October 4, as the song will be up for streaming on YouTube and various other platforms. Discussing the venture, NewJeans shared, "It was a new experience for all of us. It was fun to try out a new genre and sound. Through this collaboration, we are happy to present a song that incorporates both NewJeans' and League of Legends' unique colors. We hope it brings you a new sense of empowerment."

Prior speculations had leaned towards ATEEZ performing the Worlds theme song, especially after the group members were seen at the Riot Games headquarters in Los Angeles earlier this year.
