(G)I-DLE's Yuqi and Minnie are facing controversy after riding an electric kickboard on the sidewalk in Berlin.

On September 21, a netizen shared the below video of the two (G)I-DLE members riding an electric kickboard together on the sidewalk instead of the bike path in Berlin. In Germany, a fine of 10 euros is issued when 2 people ride one electric kickboard at the same time, and a fine of 55 euros and possible prison time are imposed for riding on the sidewalk. 

South Korea also imposes fines for more than 1 rider on an electric kickboard as well as for using pedestrian paths. Netizens are now criticizing Yuqi and Minnie's actions, commenting, "Pay the fines, and don't do it again," "At least they didn't harm anyone this time," "This isn't allowed in Korea either," "Hopefully, they don't do it again," "What is this behavior," and more.
