Former 'Produce X 101' contestant Kim Min Kyu parts ways with Jellyfish Entertainment

On August 10 KST, Jellyfish Entertainment announced that its exclusive contract with actor Kim Min Kyu has come to an end. 

Kim Min Kyu first became publicly known after appearing as a contestant on the Mnet competition program 'Produce X 101', finishing 17th place overall. He then went on to making his acting debut in the web drama 'Pop Out Boy!' in 2020, steadily building his filmography. Most recently, he greeted viewers in the Netflix series 'The Fabulous' in 2022.

Not surprising. Jellyfish hasn’t debuted a group in forever and it’s obvious they’re not great with promoting their actors. I wish the best of luck to him. He definitely deserves it
