Former soccer player Park Joo Ho made an appearance on 'Radio Star' and openly discussed his wife Anna's current health condition as she is battling cancer.

The episode of MBC's 'Radio Star,' which aired on July 26, featured guests Sayuri, Jung Sung Ho, Park Joo Ho, and Heo Woong. Comedian Lee Guk Joo also joined as a special MC for the show.

Park Joo Ho, renowned for his 16-year career as a world-class soccer player in Japan, Switzerland, and Germany, has recently retired from the sport to take care of his wife. He is best known for his appearance on the popular parenting program, 'The Return of Superman,' with his Swiss wife Anna and their three children, Naeun, Gunhoo, and Jinwoo.

Unfortunately, news about his wife Anna's ongoing battle with cancer came to light recently, leaving fans feeling sympathetic and concerned for the family.

Despite the difficult circumstances, Park Joo Ho appeared on the show with a bright smile, assuring everyone about Anna's health by stating, "She received a good evaluation, and she's undergoing regular follow-ups."

In addition to his responsibilities, Park Joo Ho humorously shared his experiences managing his three children. He connected with fellow dad and senior, Jung Sung Ho, as they laughed over the repetitive weekly pattern of parenting.

During the recording, Park Joo Ho even jokingly asked for a filming extension, reluctant to return to parenting, jokingly remarking, "It's harder than exercising for a whole month!"

Nevertheless, Park Joo Ho expressed much affection for his wife and kids. He shared that he and his wife are an ordinary married couple, just like everyone else. He explained that they get into occasional arguments, just like other couples. But one difference is that the two of them would use a translation app to translate phrases they cannot express in each other's languages, making everyone laugh.
