The sibling duo AKMU is making a comeback. According to media outlet reports on July 25 KST, AKMU plan to release a new song at the end of August, putting an end to their long hiatus. This release comes approximately two years after their collaboration album 'NEXT EPISODE' in July of 2021.
During their hiatus, Chanhyuk took the opportunity to release his first album, 'ERROR', marking his debut as a solo singer after 8 years in the industry. He also recently released a video album as part of a project group, steadily introducing listeners to his diverse music.
Suhyun, on the other hand, showcased her vocal prowess through OSTs for the dramas 'My Liberation Notes' and 'Curtain Call'. Additionally, she returned to the spotlight as an MC for the Netflix entertainment show '19/20'.
