Kim Ah Joong is in talks to star in the new drama 'War of Daechidong's Number Ones'.
On July 18, Kim Ah Joong's label PLUM A&C clarified reports of the actress' casting, stating, "It's one of the projects she's currently reviewing." 'War of Daechidong's Number Ones' tells the story of instructors who work in the competitive neighborhood of Daechidong, which is an area in Seoul known for its private education.
If cast, Kim Ah Joong will play the role of Korean language teacher Kang Do Young, who works at a prestigious Gangnam high school and becomes a reviewer for the college entrance exam.
'War of Daechidong's Number Ones' will be written by screenwriter Seo In, who was behind SBS' 'Judge vs. Judge' and JTBC's 'Law School'.
