On July 11, label Double H TNE announced the beginning of strict legal action against malicious comments and rumors directed toward INFINITE member/solo artist, Sunggyu.

"Hello.

This is Double H TNE.

Thank you to all the fans who always cherish and love our artist, Kim Sunggyu.

We would like to inform you that we will take legal action in the future regarding indiscriminate malicious posts through online communities and social media related to our artist Kim Sunggyu.
Considering Kim Sunggyu's heart, who listens to fans' opinions and puts fans first, we have decided not to take legal action in the past. We decided to take strong legal action after deciding that we could not ignore it any longer because of a situation that has caused harm to us.

In the future, when malicious posts such as malicious slander, personal attacks, defamation, and the spread of false information related to our artists are discovered, we will take strong action with data obtained through self-monitoring and reporting, and we will collect evidence related to this for the purpose of protecting our artists. We apologize for causing concern ahead of INFINITE's comeback. We ask for your understanding that we cannot provide individual responses to e-mails reporting malicious posts. Double HTNE will always do its best to protect our artist Kim Sunggyu.
