On July 11 KST, BTS's Jimin was spotted dutifully(?) fighting off the summer heat the Korean way, with a bowl of samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup). 

This year, July 11 marked the day known by Koreans as "chobok", or the first of three of the "hottest days of summer". Collectively known as "sambok" (three bok), the three hottest days of summer are "chobok", "jungbok", and "malbok", falling somewhere between mid-July to mid-August. 

Traditionally, many Koreans "fight off the heat of chobok" with a bowl of samgyetang, and it looks like Jimin decided to spend his chobok the Korean way this year as well! The idol was spotted at a samgyetang restaurant, dressed in breezy, comfortable clothes as he signed autographs for the employees with a smile.
